Kashmir

Through its experiences in the fields of medical and social work over the years, the Hope Project has expanded its outreach to include rural areas in Kashmir where poverty and vulnerability are even higher than in urban regions. Volunteer medical doctors from Florence Hospital in Srinagar are now providing primary and dental health services in organized health camps in the region. Last year, a health center was provided a new space in Archanderhama in order to be more centrally located. More than 1,000 patients have been provided primary health care and dental services.
