Samiur Rahman, a trained social worker with a masters degree from Delhi University, has been the executive director of the Hope Project since 2010. He is supported by a team of trustees, board and community members. Among his many responsibilities are theoverall supervision, administration, implementation & strategic development of programs run by the Hope Project. These include Health, Education & Livelihood Program Management, Financial Management & Fundraising Human resource Management & Leadership.
Samiur possesses excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and advocacy skills but also has first hand experience in working with the Basti community on a grass roots level. He expressed that he was led to take on this challenging work by listening to his heart and following the call to help bring meaningful change into the lives of the disadvantaged.
